NVQ First Aid

This is an intensive one-day course; it provides you with the basic knowledge to provide treatment in emergency situations where an individual injures themselves.

Emergency First Aid at work is must have for anyone, the techniques are also useful in everyday life.

The certificate

This course is compliant with the Health & Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981. The certificate is valid for three years.

  • General common illness and injuries
  • Managing incidents
  • Examining conscious/unconscious casualties
  • Basic life support

Course Assessments

The course is assessed via multiple choice tests, group activities and tutor observations.
