This may be the first step in getting a CSCS labourer card; it is an introduction to safety in a building site.
CSCS Labourer Q-Card (GQA) Bundle
As of the 1st of September 2017, GQA Qualifications is a formal partner of CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme). This agreement includes construction occupations such as Labourers, bricklayers, steel fixers and Site Supervisors in addition to the Q-Cards for glass and glazing related occupations.
Door Supervisor Course
This course is required to get your SIA Door Supervisor Licence. The Door Supervisor Licence allows holders to take security jobs such as manned guarding, key holding and security in licenced premises.
First Aid at Work Course (FAW)
This is an intensive 3 days course; it provides you with the required knowledge to provide treatment in emergency situations where an individual injures themselves. The course includes knowledge on how to operate a defibrillator.
Emergency First Aid at Work Course (EFAW)
This is an intensive one-day course; it provides you with the basic knowledge to provide treatment in emergency situations where an individual injures themselves.
Traffic Marshal (Banksman) Course
Traffic marshal or banksman are operatives trained to direct movement of vehicles on site or loading decks.
Fire Marshal (Warden) Course
Fire marshals are operatives trained to identify fire hazards at their workplace, note and report hazards, act in the event of a fire and ensure escape routes are always kept clear.
Level 2 Award in Food Safety
This course is aimed at those people who handle food in hospitality or catering sector.
Level 3 Award in Food Safety
This course is aimed at people in supervisory positions in catering or food business.
GQA Level 2 NVQ Certificate in Wood Occupations (Construction) – on site assessment and training
This qualification is aimed at those who are involved in either shopfitting site work or shopfitting bench work.
GQA Level 2 NVQ Diploma in Fenestration Installation– on site assessment and training
This qualification is aimed at those who work as installers of glass supporting systems, which include window and door units.
